In Lynn Valley Dairy Queen, our employees, who form the DQ Crew, are the most important people in our company. It is our pleasure to offer you an opportunity to enjoy success in a respected Dairy Queen store.

Our DQ Crew is the bridge between our company and our customers. As an employee, your work is very important because you are the representative to the people who pay our salaries - our customers.

Employment at Lynn Valley Dairy Queen is at-will, meaning that you have the right to terminate your employment at any time, and for any reason, with or without notice, and that the company has the same right.

Once you submit the application to the store:

  • Our manager will contact you to schedule an interview.
  • If you pass the interview, you will be given 2 or 3 days of work to get a feel for the job.
  • If you decide to stay on, you may inform the manager and your name will be put on the scheduling list.

Upon employment, you will receive a handbook from the owners, detailing the policies and guidelines of the store. It is important that you read thoroughly and understand the handbook, and that you do not release information of the handbook to anybody else.

We set high standards for our DQ Crew, in order to provide top-notch customer service to our customers.

We expect, in no order of priority, that you:

  • Strive for excellence in all that you do.
  • Take pride in, and responsibility for, all the products that you make.
  • Serve customers courteously and speedily.
  • Work as a team with your fellow DQ Crew members.
